I am from a pharmaceutical company seeking medical interpreters to assist with a clinical trial. What criterias should I be looking at?

Out of all the topics, medical interpretation remains one of the most technical topics that requires massive studies and preparation to be done prior to the conference or meetings. Hence, the intensity needed usually results in a higher cost involving medical interpreters (experience plays a big part.)

Some may chose normal simultaneous interpreters over medical interpreters for their medical events in order to save cost, however, the output of the conference is rarely at the optimal level. The medical interpreters have to make sure the doctors/medical practitioners present at the conference understand thoroughly about the going-ons. Therefore, a proven track of relevant experience in performing medical interpretation OR background in the medical industry is a plus in this industry.
